One town's shop owners in the UK, who were sick and tired of multinationals using tax avoidance strategies, are now deciding to do the same thing. This EPIC! Becacause if they succeed, others will follow. And the politicians world wide will have to take notice and close the loopholes--hopefully.

Crickhowell: Welsh town moves 'offshore' to avoid tax on local business | UK | News | The Independent

"Steve, a Crickhowell coffee shop owner Steve said: “I have always paid every penny of tax I owe, and I don’t object to that. What I object to is paying my full tax when my big name competitors are doing the damnedest to dodge theirs.” One of the town’s traders discovered that he paid seven times more in corporation tax than Facebook, which paid less than £5,000 in the UK last year."

Welcome To Crickhowell - The Entire Welsh Town That Just Went 'Offshore' | Zero Hedge

Those loopholes won't be closed, they were bought and paid for, and the parties involved are going to be held accountable.

Thank God for the Resistance.

Most political figures have the same strategies and receive that "early phone call" as a way to amass their millions.

The Patriot Act caused a lot of these offshore accounts to be shuttled around as most were derivative earnings from U.S activities and mostly subject to the tax code.

Most People also forget about the Hamilton vs Jefferson rivalry.

One side supported the taxpayer/revenue protection systems vs Slave Labor/tax evading strategies.
