Her condition of employment does not supercede the protections of the 1st Amendment. Happy to burst your bubble.

The courts have been very clear that it does not violate any 1st Amendment rights to provide something to others even when it is against your beliefs. To not do so, is considered discrimination. Ask all the bakers that have to make cakes for same-sex weddings or the court clerk in Kentucky jail right now over not issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples over her religious beliefs. You are entitled to your beliefs 100%, but you are NOT entitled to your job.. especially if you try to impose your beliefs on the people you were hired to serve. just my 2 cents.

This issue has not been settled. Not even by a long shot. Feel free to believe it has.

The First Amendment has nothing to do with protecting your speech or religious rights at work. It only protects those rights from government intrusion ("Congress shall make no law..."). You're at work to do the job as defined by your boss. If you don't like the job description/requirements or you later change your mind, renegotiate or leave. You do not have the right to free speech or religious expression at work without fear of losing your job. Don't think so? Try making a lewd comment to a passenger, or even better, a coworker. If they don't appreciate your advances, your job could be at risk. Same thing with religious convictions. If they conflict with the requirements of the job, tough luck. You don't have a RIGHT to that job.
