All I can tell you is my wife (she's a sub) won't work anywhere but the NW corner. That would be the Summerlin, Lone Mountain, Centennial Hills areas. Caveat...we live up there, but some of the schools she's worked in out of that area were pretty scary.
Don't know about Henderson. Even the decent schools are overcrowded.

Part of the issue is that the Clark County school district is HUGE and encompasses a wide variety of students from different areas of the valley.
Henderson has been trying to break off into its own district for a while.
I have kids in the Elementary and Middle schools in Henderson, and compared to schools in three other states that they've been in, I'm pretty happy with the quality of education and facilities.
Some of the schools in the southern end of Henderson -- Liberty, for example -- apparently suffered with the outflow of tax revenue with the housing bust 6-9 years ago. Supposedly that has been changing over the last two years. I don't have kids at that level, so I can't vouch for that.
