One way to supplement your income.

Darwinists are confused people. They believe in "survival of the fittest", yet they seem to put human life a tier below the animal kingdom. With all of the protections of "endangered" species, WWF, etc; yet if they really believed in Darwinism, then they would be content with animals and "less fit" creatures being killed off.
Turns out they're not really confused at all. They've examined the evidence and decided that evolution is the only feasible explanation for the origins and complexity of life.
Environmentalists are attempting to prevent humankind from wiping out even more species than we already have in our relatively brief time on earth.

.. To make money..
I don't condone what this guy did, but the reason he explains why he did what he had to do is a proof of the sad state of affairs of this industry..

Exactly, our pay might suck but I've never once looked at my paycheck and said "man I could make a lot more money smuggling drugs in my stomach" other people's pay is a hell of lot worse than ours and most of them don't even consider doing something this idiotic. We do still make a living wage last time I checked. Unless you absolutely sunk yourself in student loan debt in which case you're probably dumb enough to do this.

Remember, we are in a severe pilot shortage. As long as he is still willing to show up to work for peanuts and look for inventive ways to supplement his income on the side, they may still want him. Lord knows they would rather have a pilot with a messed up background that they know will never be able to leave for a major than a pilot with a clean record that might leave at any time for greener pastures.

"Felony involving illegal possession of a controlled substance" is on the no go list. But for how long.....?
