Military involvement (not counting USCG) has always been minimal and relatively low cost. Even more so since 9/11..it's never been something the military really wanted to be doing.

Parents and the state should work with and compliment each other; not send contradicting views to our children.

That would be nice, but that time is long past.

That is probably a true statement, unfortunately.

Darwin can fix the junkies, the real cancer is the kind of money involved-it becomes a universal adapter for the worst kinds of motives at all levels.

The older I get, the more I agree with you. Legalize it, tax it, and let Darwin do the rest (to the junkies and the drug lords).

Darwinists are confused people. They believe in "survival of the fittest", yet they seem to put human life a tier below the animal kingdom. With all of the protections of "endangered" species, WWF, etc; yet if they really believed in Darwinism, then they would be content with animals and "less fit" creatures being killed off.

Content or not, it matters not what we think, around 95% of flora and fauna have met their end as a species over the course of time. They will continue to do so, we are not an exception.

You gotta love libertarians
How about good parenting and teaching kids the right things. The Reagans " just say no" campaign is something from my childhood that I will never forget; it's engrained in me. That and the notion that my parents would have KILLED me kept me from ever thinking of using.
Those crazy libertarians hate this kind of stuff:

How does this level of police supervision of our lives improve our society?
