Default Airport Shoes

Does anyone have a suggestion on some comfortable, affordable black airport shoes? Preferably slip on, with no laces. I figure I'll be on my feet walking though airports soon enough, I'd like my feet to not hurt at the end of the day. for instance, I have 3 pairs of Sperry Topsiders that I love, but I can't stay on my feet for too long with them on otherwise my feet start to ache. (They obviously don't have much cushion, so I'm not looking for anything similar in terms of thin soles)

Suggestions are appreciated!

I wear Hushpuppies. They are black slip-on's. Comfy and airport friendly.

Quick note on the Ecco. There were multiple comments about the sizes running large. True for me too. I went down a half size from normal and they fit just fine (online purchase).

A metal shank will set off the metal detector, annoying cuz you havde to take them off.

Military Bates Lites are also TSA friendly, if you're military and already have them. I prefer Eccos though, less clunky. The Eccos seem to hold up very well too.

While we're discussing shoes... How long do your shoes last?

I can't seem to find a pair that last longer than a year. Maybe two at max. Haven't tried Ecco's yet.
