Ive been impressed with Ecco as well. I got them at an Ecco "outlet" store outside of Atlanta. Nice to be able to try them on and get the right fit. After the fact, I found out they are cheaper on Amazon. They were the exact same price on the Ecco website as the "outlet" price.

I've got the Hushpuppies black slip ons as well. My favorite work shoes I've owned!

I like Ariat shoes. I have a nice pair of non boots and they are the only shoes I buy for work. I have lots of foot problems and they seem to be the only shoes that don't hurt my feet with prolonged use. I've tried Eccos and I was miserable in them. The Ariats come with a carbon shank as well so they're airport friendly.

Clark's slip ons. To check for metal shanks, lift the foot bed at the heel. If you see a rivet, it has a steel shank.

Check out your local airport Johnston & Murphy, comfy, long lasting and sharp looking. No beepy either.

I wear boots because I burn through socks like no tomorrow and it seems I'm always down to ankle socks or white socks. Picked up a pair of Laredo boots for $90 and they've been my best investment in work shoes yet. Airport friendly too. I'm trying to remember the model number but it was great in the cold months.

SKECHERS Work Closer Black - Zappos.com Free Shipping BOTH Ways

I wear these. Affordable, comfortable, and last for about a year of all weather freight flying.
