Default What flashlight's in your bag?

I'm ready to ditch my mammoth Maglite after seeing a few of my copilots using Shurefire (I think that's how it's spelled).

What good options out there do I have, or is Shurefire the Shure way to go? Thought I'd ask you pro's.

TIA, CRJammin'

I keep a Maglite in mine. Who needs a LEO on board when you have a fistful of cold metal flashlight?

Here's what I carry. It's a lot cheaper than the Surefire, and it's the absolute brightest thing that I have found. When working for the airlines I had to replace the batteries about once a year (it takes two camera lithium batteries that cost about $12 to replace...)

You can get them at target for about $20 (cheaper than shown on this website)

I like this model so much, that I keep one in each car, two in the plane, one in my suitcase, and two at home.

I have 3 AA mini-mags.
One is silver and has a white light, one is black with a blue/green filter on it and the other one is red and I modified it to have a red LED in it.

i have a Surefire, and i love it! here's my exact model: http://www.surefire.com/maxexp/main/.../888/sesent/00.

it has 4 times the light of a two D-cell flashlight, and it fits in the palm of my hand. expensive, but worth it over many years of reduced space and weight.

Did you see this post? You will not buy a Surefire after investigating this site: http://www.airlinepilotforums.com/showthread.php?t=7695

Surefire is a great flashlight but this site has some flashlights that are a much better value.

Thanks all! I really like the Brinkmann. Can't beat that $25 price tag.

I'll upgrade to the Surefire when get hired by a better paying airline.
