Airline miths

By the way that was me waddling through the terminal. I was on my way to get a pretzel and a frappuccino to go with my two slices of pizza. I am not officially a midget by the way. My small stature is offset by a large smile in addition to other things.

I told you LAFF, I am not officially a midget. Little People of America (LPA) defines dwarfism as a medical or genetic condition that usually results in an adult height of 4'10" or shorter. I measure 59 inches high (4'11"), have a 44 inch waist and wear size 13 shoes. My Rogaine hair cream and fashionable reading glasses are two things that sustain my high self esteem. I am amazed at guys like Skyhigh who says you can't make it in this industry.

He is Wild. Calcapt is one of those charming airline captain studs. Picture Leonardo Di Caprio strutting through the terminal in "Catch Me If You Can", a posse of flight attendants desperately trying hard to keep up with him.

Speaking of "miths" and passports, I had a debate with a fellow travel industry pro today about the upcoming new passport rule for anyone re-entering the US from Mexico, Canada, etc. I think it might be a "mith" that it will hurt travel. Quite the contrary. I think every US citizen should have a passport and now that more people will have them, I think it might spark more international travel. People might be inclined to use their brand new passport and start collecting stamps in them. My colleague begged to differ with me.

another "mith" airline pilot loves the adventure and dont care for the future.
well some of the pilots i met were preparing retirement schemes from the age of 15 (no kidding).
one was offered to work as ATC and for a regional...he took the ATC job.
some of them once got married dont want to move far from home anymore.

I've seen a lot of the world on trips. It's up to you to stay in the hotel or get out and do something. I see the highlights of the city where I am. I even take trains to other cities to see stuff. Some cities are better than others for visiting, but I want to see everything, so I do.
I don't think they stamp passports anymore. I don't have any stamps in the last 11 years. They just scan them. 21st century stuff.
I enjoy eating different foods from around the world too. "When in Rome..."
There is plenty to see and do domestic too.
