Airway Manuals on EFB
I'm wondering how those pilots currently using EFB's handle their Airway Manuals. Are they just PDF's? How hard is it to find information you're looking for. If I'm looking for a CPDLC logon code for a area...I get 25+ pages of anything with CPDLC printed on it.

Are the codes printed on the FIR boundaries on your enroute charts? Our manuals are PDFs. I'm sure without pretty specific search words, I would have the same problem as you.
I've never tried to look them up in the manual. Maybe it's not the most correct way, but getting them off the enroute chart has always worked for me.

The codes aren't on our charts. That not all the problems. When we go to the MEL to look up an item, The MEL sometimes will refer to the Operating Manual. We just made a major change to the Operating Manuals so the chapters aren't all congruent. Consequently, the MEL is referring to something that doesn't exist. Our company is doing everything via PDF's and the don't all line up.
