Japan scrambles jets after China military plane flies by disputed islands - World News

Putting aside for the moment how ugly this early warning plane is, I wonder how far this is go and to what extent the United States will get involved.

My old plane was ugly too, but it would win by a nose.

This kind of thing happens all the time in the West Pac, although not usually involving Japan.

There's an ongoing game of posturing and blustering over a variety of islands and resources, involving the PRC and a variety of other nations.
