Flew a LJ35 back in the day, the guy in our twr (a seasoned veteran) would refer to us as the Fast Mover Inbound to the local students in the pattern. Always got a kick out of that...

Short story long ...
Had tuned out the world pretty much but heard a plane had "landed" in the Hudson. All surviving.
For some reason I needed to read all I could about that story. & especially what pilots thought of it.

Google searched on some forgotten keyword and this site came back. Instantly hooked but
not being a flybird (meant complmentarily) took a nametag to indicate that. The #s just #s.

BTW - WingedWheeler I am a longtime IndianHead fan but your quip gave me such a good LOL
buy you a concession stand beer anytime.
(And the wit in this thread perfect e.g. why I keep checking back in.)

Orvil after one of the Wrights. I should have spelled it Orville. I couldn't spell it correctly. Pilots don't need to spell. The college degree was wasted on me.
