And yes as far as fights are concerned the law is fairly simple.

This is how I feel about this whole ordeal.
Do I feel that Zimmerman is innocent....no. He put himself in a situation with poor judgement, which at the end of the night somebody lost their life, which is never a positive outcome. Is Zimmerman guilty....no. We will never know about the real specifics of the confrontation.
When you are dealing with fights that leads to the use of deadly force with CCW, it comes down to which party escalated the fight to the point where the second party is afraid of great bodily harm or death. I could start a fight with somebody and we can go ten rounds, but when that person takes out a baseball bat or a knife it escalates the confrontation to the next level. I fear for my life, even though I started the fight I did not escalate it to this point.
This is what I think. I feel Zimmerman started the confrontation by following Trayvon, but I feel that Trayvon escalated the fight to that level. You really don't need hard evidence for the escalation also. The use of deadly force is based on the perception of the individual that uses deadly force. That's why I say Zimmerman is not guilty. According to Florida's statutes and CCW laws, he did not break any laws. Each state is different also. Florida has the No Retreat Clause, so Zimmerman was legal in standing his ground instead of trying to run away.

Translation: I think like Zimmerman... and if I find myself in a situation that I started and I have the perception that my life is in danger, I want to be able to use deadly force..... and not be questioned about it.

I was just stating that that's how the law is read. If you do not like it, then complain to somebody and have the CCW laws changed. Why don't you take a CCW class so you can educate yourself with the local laws and statues where you live.
Peace

The next time someone is beating your brains out and threatening your life feel free to lay there, do nothing about it, and possibly get killed or suffer brain damage.

STILL waiting for the first person with a conscience, a brain and a set of balls to take up the cause for the 60 people shot (20, yes 20 of whom DIED) in Chicago during the July 4th Holiday. (I heard this statistic and was totally appalled, but not really surprised by it). I guess when it's black-on-black crime, your life ain't worth **** and NO ONE will rally around the cause. Once again, totally DISGUSTING.
