I have watched this video a few times... Loved watching it. I kinda got the vibe that the dude seemed a bit drunk though. Definitely a good ol' boy. Smoking his cigarette and dodging treetops.

Funny that was my impression too. It is an awesome video but I can't even show it to most friends because of his continuous colorful language. Oh well. Doesn't make the act less cool, taking quite a risk for a (very expensive-looking) R/C craft. I crashed quite a few models many, many decades ago, but never into a tree.

Dude certainly has skill. I did the nitro RC monster trucks / cars as a kid. They were quite expensive themselves. Wanted to get an RC plane, but it would have actually raised our homeowners insurance (or so I was told as a youngster).
