OKC Tornado
Time to put the SLI stuff on the back burner for a few days-
Hopefully anyone on both sides of the List, who lives or has family in the OKC area.. are ok.
God knows that CALForums has come through for others when needed, and hopefully the other forum (UnitedPilots) does the same. Let's hope everyone is good to go.
Thoughts and Prayers for everyone involved.

The death toll is above 50 at this time. Very tragic- there is no wrath like that of nature gone awry. We should grieve a minute for the innocent dead who are mainly school children according to news reports.

According to University of Oklahoma researchers, the 1999 tornado was the most powerful ever recorded -- 318 mph.

Having lived there for 4 years including May 3, 1999, my prayers go out and haunting memories of cleaning up including my best friends house being flattened come rushing in. Okies are strong and will recover

Scientists hope to predict tornadoes by using little drones - latimes.com
Another opportunity if you find yourself with Drone experience.
Another opportunity if you find yourself with Drone experience.
Until now, most of the work on unmanned aircraft has been for military or public safety uses. But researchers are increasingly exploring their use in science, including severe weather research. (Weather officials prefer the term "unmanned aircraft" to "drone," a word strapped with political connotations because of its wartime use.)
