There is a simple truth if you care to admit it, there is only one way to stop a fruitcake with a weapon. This is why people call the police and the police may be there in 5-60 minutes depending on your location, unfortunately you may have only seconds to react.
If you value your security as much as politicos and others with means, you understand the dynamics of assault. Cutting the little people out of the right to defend themselves is denial of one of the most basic of human rights.
