You're all on the wrong track. Heavier passengers can actually save the airlines money and can be offered discounts or extra mileage awards. For take-off and landing, have them sit where needed to necessitate the CG range. During cruise, start the musical chairs and shift the heavies to the back in what could be considered a maintenance free and poor man's (airline's) Tail Fuel Management system.

I think we should charge based on how much hair you have. I'm tired of people with all that fancy hair not paying their full share. The follically challenged (those pesky PC police!) need a break.
