A list of the 10 worst airplanes
I'm sure many on this site will have problems with many of the choices on this list - but then again some will not.

I can't justify the 80 as number 2. They are old, but they offer a descent capacity and are safe. Seating is not too cramped compared to the RJs. I can understand it being that high for being loud and gas hungry.

I had no problem with the 120. Enjoyed many many hours in it and been through much brutal weather under 180 in it . It held together just fine and did its job. That prop'er kept on chuggin.
I will hold my tongue on the 80…inefficient and slow? Say it ain’t so Joe.

The Brasilia crash mentioned in the article was not due to the airplane, it was due to an improperly serviced propeller. So that argument is nothing. The airplanes are kind of noisy but almost all props are, and the size of the cabin I believe is the same as the ones used for the EMB 135 and 145 jets in terms of width and height. A bit small for sure, but nothing out of the ordinary. Bum rap on that one.
MD80s and the ilk are seriously old now, but they were great airplanes during the era they were made for, the 60s thru 90s. They are all noisy, JT6s are noisy engines, and the last row of seats by the engines on any of this series is loud as a rock concert. They are just old now.

The reasons it mentions for the 757 are rediculous. Because it takes forever to unload? So why didn't the 767, 777, 747 make the list? It is high off the ground so there are tarmac delays? Again, why didn't the 767, 777, 747 make the list?

Saab 340 inefficient???
I'd love to see what aircraft is more efficient in comparison.

Single aisle vs. double aisle. Ever sat in the back of a 757-300? 220 people in front of you have to deplane first. Of course, the 737-900 is the same.

10 worst passenger aircraft still in service and the picture on the first page of the article is a DC-10 freighter.
I'm sure some obscure outfit might still be flying people in them, but I seriously doubt many folks in this author's target audience could go on line and buy a ticket on a DC-10.
