Default Rough waters ahead.

Last year from what I understand and I could be wrong it was Alaskan crab fishermen and now these guys.

Not terribly surprising, unfortunately. Last I checked, about 3,000 coal miners have been laid off due to "regulation." That's really bad considering that a greater portion of the individuals laid off were making above the average wage in the US without a college education. I read an article in the WSJ back in September. It featured a foreman at a coal mine. His mine was closing. He was losing a six figure paycheck. His only plan was to borrow money to finish his 4 year degree to become a gym teacher, which paid (IIRC) $35k a year. Sad.

It's a shame actually and just the tip of the iceberg unfortunately with no end in sight.
And the hits just keep coming.

That particular state in which the mine was closing has usually had a weak economy. Strange that during the worst global economy since the great depression the feds kick people while they are down. Salt in the wounds. What an unsympathetic agenda.

I agree and google these tidbits.
FDA proposes new food labeling rule .
Healthcare to cost 20,000.00 for a family of 5 according to the IRS .


Looks like subsidies are going to be needed for some !
