Exactly which Japanese are you talking about? The ones on the West Coast or East Coast?
It was a time of war. At least we did not starve or kill them. Was it right by today's standards? No, but your attempt to draw relevance does not stand up to rigorous intellectual honesty.
America is far from perfect and I am a huge critic of tyrannical policies, but the leftist notion that the rest of the world is some kind of Utopia is naive and very dangerous.

At least we did not starve or kill them? Because we were better than the Nazi's that makes it ok? What is this conservative notion to turn a blind eye to failures and embrace nationalism regardless of the truth?
The Rest of the world isn't a utopia.. in fact America has it relatively good. There are other countries that are doing it better... but the issue is... America isn't as advertised and many are tired of the BS sales job..... let's call the kettle black and be done with it.... no I don't want to move, I want to make my country live up to it's hype...

The thing about the Constitution is that everyone seems to interpret it differently and also twist the words and meanings to fit their own biases and personal goals in life. Seems no one can win when it comes to arguments over the Constitution. Not sure that is what the authors quite had in mind when it was created but, it sure turned into a living changing document for better or worse.

Not my point at all... the Japanese Americans were ... Americans. Why the excuse for it? The NDAA now allows the US MIL to detain US citizens indefinitively... what is your excuse this time?

No challenge at all, when you coerce or constrain the person or property of another-you limit freedom. Most of man's problems can be easily traced to breaking this rule.
That is because coercion is a requirement for control, no human is going to willingly be controlled in his person or property without proper and just reward for such action.
