Default Leading Edge Bugs

What's the best formula for removing bug carcasses? Interweb goes from water to turtle wax. It's costing me about 10kts and 50lbs useful load

Go to your FLAPS (Friendly Local Auto Parts Store), they sell stuff designed for that.

If you keep a good coat of wax on the plane, the bugs might wipe off with soapy water and a sponge.

That is my technique after landing and getting put in the hanger spray bottle with water and soft towel and wipe. After to keep the wax going I use Mequires spot detailing mist on the leading surfaces.
