Doesn't surprise me at all.

I had a 777 Military Charter, all the way from Atlanta to Columbus, Georgia, non-stop.

We were fighting over who was going to get first break and by the time we figured it out, we were on the ground!

About 15 minutes flight time I think...

When I was a noob I flew 727 engineer quite a bit on that flight Tom mentioned earlier, MIA to FLL, non-stop. Sometimes we would take off to the west of out MIA, make two right turns, land going east in FLL. The pilots would race to see who could put up the shortest time, about 9-10 minutes was the record I think.

Yes, they did retract the gear and flaps, get up to 250 in the turn, call FLL in sight, throw out everything and land.

Default Atl-ags-cae

Last Delta flight of the day from ATL to Columbia stopped in AGS for 30 minutes. Just enough time for a few more nightcaps in F then the 54nm leg to CAE. This was in the 1985-1991 time frame.

Shortest for me.... CLT-GSP and PHL-ABE. Both still being flown by Air Whiskey.

Not scheduled, but flying the 747-400 from SFO to OAK on a maintenance ferry was always a kick! 10 miles Great Circle Mapper

An empty -400 gets to 2000 feet REALLY fast!

Back in the dark ages, I flew a 737-200 from ORD to MKE in about 11 minutes.

I had a D.O.D flight two years ago that went from ANC to Elmendorf, AK. We were flying a DC-6 and had considered just leaving the wheels out for the brief flight over. To make matters worse, Elmendorf ended up canceling. Unfortunately, all three crew members lost a good amount of cash that day.

Back when I first started at Colgan. Every morning, they used to ferry a SAAB from HEF to IAD. That was day 3 of IOE. I was told before we started engines that the company record was 4 minutes and 21 seconds.

COEX used to do IAH-EFD in the ERJ. I think it was about 6 minutes. They also used to do IAH-HOU in the Beech. I'm sure that was pretty quick, too.
