Default Army Warrant Versus Aviation Officer Service

Ive mostly been interested in the navy but the army has a warrant officer program that im most familiar with. Advice would be most helpful.

From my experience - purely in the National Guard/Reserve, Army Aviation Officers do not fly as much as the Warrant Officers. Air Force and Navy Aviators probably fly more than Army Aviation Officers. Army starts everyone in helicopters. Even though the Army is probably short on Fixed-Wing pilots, they usually allow only very senior pilots (W-4, W-5, MAJ/LTC) to transition to C-12 - unless they are IN a FW unit. I think all Army Active Component FW units are OCONUS. Reserve/National Guard ones have C-12s and UC35s. Let me know (PM) and I will link you up with the Reserve Aviation Command who can let their units know. RR
