I registered on here a long time ago but portions of the site aren't open to me so I figured it must be for a lack of introduction. I am currently an FO at Mesa, Charlotte based flying the 900. Flight instructed before that and now I'm just trying to make it to bigger and better places.

If you would not be able to put your politics of philosophy second to their lives, then military is not for you. After 30 years of service, I can say it is about your fellow service member, and honoring your commitment to the people of the Country. Go all-in either way - nothing dishonorable about keeping to your beliefs and following the civilian route to becoming an airline pilot instead of a military pilot. I would not recommend doing both at once like I did - too much school, and not enough flying!
Thanks for the information!

I recently went to UND for their helicopter training program, but they cancelled it upon my first year. Ive been curious about warrant officer ever since they provide a great opportunity to fly all the time. Im struggling on finding the best path. Ive mostly been interested in the navy but the army has a warrant officer program that im most familiar with. Advice would be most helpful.
