Hey everyone. I'm currently a Law Enforcement Officer at a large agency in Florida. I'm looking at beginning flight training in March of 2013. I'm not sure if I'm going to stay in law enforcement full time or go into aviation. I'm looking forward to training though.

Hello ladies.
Longtime forum browser, first-time poster (obviously). Brand new CFI here, all set to take the PT for II in the next week or two. 420 TT and just logged my 1st T/O and landing in a jet this past Friday, along with 2.5 hrs in a PC-12 the same day (thanks to a very generous and long-time CP flying out of the same FBO where my flight school is located). Interestingly (for me anyway), a client of said generous CP tipped me $100 after being picked up and taken to his destination in the Pilatus. This was the first $$ I have ever "earned" in a flying gig, which I take as a good omen vs. earning my first $1 in aviation as a CFI. Speaking of which...
I began flight training just before 9/11 and am starting my 1st job in aviation the week after next as a CFI (3rd career start, by choice). At 38 and with that all said, I can attest that it can take a while to work towards one's true dreams. The wife and I are DINKs, although the "DI" will be a bit of a joke, at least for a while anyway. Eagle Scout, BBA Finance, Masters in Psychology, worked for Dell Inc. before anyone ever heard of it, certified Rescue Diver, avid outdoors guy, and other experience(s) too numerous to mention. Oh yeah, and I speak jive, too.
Ciao!
