HI All.
I have a non-current PPL, about 160hrs. Started IFR training nearly a decade ago and ran out of $. Somewhere along the line got discouraged too. Am now trying to get back into flying and have a career that I enjoy. I love aviation!

A CFI/CFII/MEI with about 1300TT. My first 121 interview is coming up in a few days and I'm here to gather as much information as i can. Been reading many threads and learned a lot about the industry as a passive reader. Now I'd like to be an active member and take part in some of the discussions.

Currently flying the EMB-120 as a Capt at SkyWest, based in SLC. I've been furloughed three times, quit TSA after GoJet was created, so I've been around the block a few times, the good part is I've flown quite a few airplanes, SF-340, B-727-200, D-328-100, EMB-145, CRJ 200, 700, & 900, EMB-120. Total time now is about 9000 hours, 4500 PIC, 3100 PIC turbine (Nov '12). Seeking employment at FedEx, Delta, USAirways, American, UPS, United... I have my 'choice' employers, but at this point I need quality of life and an income that will support my family as I'm recently a Dad to one. I'm hoping to get hiring information about the majors, that's why I'm here.
I'm passionate about the outdoors, which is why I love living in SLC, I guide at a world-class ski resort, love to cycle, run, hike, etc.
