Default its so hard to pick just one...

if you had to pick just one aircraft to fly for the rest of your life, what would you pick and why?

I'd pick the Grumman F-7F "Tigercat". I love tandem seats and the fact that it has twin P&W 18cyl Double Wasps. One of the highest-performace piston engine aircraft out there. Love the sound of them, love the look of them, and I could die happy flying that thing around.

What about you?

We all admire the beauty, design, and power of well constructed craft-but the most beautiful of all?
The one that pays the bills.

I was thinking either the 747 or a Gulfstream (still good choices), but I think Oldveedubs is onto something with the Super Goose...

Not practical, F4U Corsair, something just sexy about that gull wing.

Practical but not would be a C310R

Bombardier 415 Superscooper. What could be more fun that scooping water out of a lake and dropping it on a fire.
