Curious... if he was on the plane which was below 10,000 feet, how did he get that screen shot? Interwebz are inhibited on GoGo below 10.

You can go to flight aware.com on the ground and just type in the flight number and the flight path including the wx at the time will be there.

Barring a FlightAware glitch, they most likely are trying to climb out and head to the alternate, at least that's how I read the situation. At the risk of Monday morning QBing, sure looks like those guys let themselves get backed into a corner.
