College or Pro team lanyard? A little different IMHO.
Maybe you're right, they don't matter. Try wearing an "Allah Is The One True God" lanyard on your next AWAC orbit and get back to us.
Potatoe Chip,
Dead on, totally agree.
Might be tough at times to weed out the problem children when Envoy crew manning protests, but if the flow up is the plan, there needs to be discipline.
I'll also admit that many senior guys probably wouldn't have wanted their early-late twenties past lives resurfaced on webpages today. Easy to throw stones while older I guess. The guy is young, it's a different world with cameras everywhere. Sux IMHO

Because he's wearing an AA lanyard? You know AA hands those out at every job fair they attend and even gave a bunch of them to my kid's school for career day. The next thing you're going to tell us is that everyone wearing an NFL jersey doesn't actually play on an NFL team!? weak.
Of all the reasons this guy is TOTD, the lanyard isn't one of them (but it IS funny it's AA!)

Dolphin... If you have a problem with his lanyard, you might be better served to criticize the company rather than the pilot. At Piedmont, and it's reasonable to think the same could be true at PSA, the American Airlines lanyard (and the official USAirways lanyard before that) is supplied to the pilots as the only permissible lanyard to year; other lanyards, including sports teams, military, college, and blank, are forbidden. This came about after USAPA's failed "I'm on board" campaign several years ago. If there's one thing that definitely doesn't qualify as toolish, it's properly wearing the approved uniform.
Thanks for highlighting my problem with this little Douche.
He doesn't work for AA and isn't a AA pilot (not yet), yet wears verbiage that the general public might think he is. That eclipses all his little gel haired, selfie act and qualifies for TOTD, maybe even a runner up in the yearly semi-finals.

Holy cow. I thought that was a parody site of pilot-selfies. I would think his company would get after him for using enough hair gel to be a fire hazard.
Today's tool is one of "Mike's bubbas" who left their FFDO gun in the bathroom. The second tool is the janitor who took it to his locker.

But remember, kids, these self-declared heroes of the sky are our "last line of defense!" It is making you safer!

I agree there are some bozo's, but not all are like this guy. I know a few that I trust 110% and wouldn't lump them in this category. Why we have the program is a completely different topic.
