Well, once again, it’s time to pay recognition to those special tools on the roadways out there that have the “too” virus when it comes to using their turn signals.

These charming folks are; too arrogant, too busy, too lazy, too important and too ignorant to use some common courtesy and basic safety to touch that turn signal lever. They worry about everything else in the universe it seems except for common courtesy and some basic safety. Because; they are the only person in the world on the roadways and they certainly cannot have any effect on anyone else around them, right?

You go you wonderful tools! I’ll listen for your 5 seconds of fame during the next traffic update.

Yeah, I guess flying to Eurotrashland on a weekly basis for the last 8 years counts as "Doesn't get out much."

Actually, I'm sure I do know what it means. As defined by Psychology Today:

Groupthink
What Is Groupthink?

Groupthink occurs when a group values harmony and coherance over accurate analysis and critical evaluation. It causes individual members of the group to unquestioningly follow the word of the leader and it strongly discourages any disagreement with the concensus.

Groupthink is rampant on APC. Differing views are generally met with disdain and often with moderator action. Sorry if you can't accept that.

Groupthink is also pervasive among the FFDO community. Even though they can't show even one case where an FFDO has prevented an action, they insist on self-glorification of "another layer of safety" so they can continue to tote around their pistols, badges and Barney Fife egos.

I still don't think IAD area drivers are anywhere near as bad as NYC drivers. That said, I'm glad you brought up something different than FFDO crap. maybe we can find another subject to agree to disagree on!

Fantastic. You can look up a definition on the internet (although apparently you can't copy it without misspelling multiple words). Regardless, you continue to misuse the word, which leads one to suspect that you don't actually understand its meaning. Numerous times you have accused other members of "groupthink" simply because they held a differing opinion from you. That's quite a leap in logic. Or lack of logic I should say.

My personal favorite was when a member had quoted another member's post, and simply noted with a single sentence that he agreed with the sentiment. You pounced with your accusation of "groupthink." However, exactly one page earlier, you had used nearly the exact same word-for-word single sentence that he had, to express that you agreed with a different member's post. What's the takeaway here? If you agree with a sentiment, it's righteous, but if someone agrees with a sentiment that you don't, it's "groupthink"? Still think you're using it correctly?

Tell you what: why don't you look up "irony" next, and then get back to us.

For the love of all that is good and holy, can we take the merit/value of the FFDO program discussion and the related psychology of the FFDO program discussion to their own thread or to PM?

I can't disagree with you on that LNL76 dear. And I know we don't disagree on common courtesy and respect.

Yes! Let's not forget a proper upbringing where good manners are taught as well!
