I wonder what his reaction would have been if a guy walked up and kissed him.

The regional chief pilot who, at the start of the 25 minute van ride, proceeded to give a predeparture briefing that lasted all the way to the airport. I believe the briefing nearly matched the length of the flight.

And wore his hat while eating breakfast at the crew hotel.

And nearly had an aneurysm when we closed the door 1 minute late because the jet bridge wouldn't retract. You'd have thought the rampers had abducted his first-born.

And best of all: when I stated my opinion that regional pilots are underpaid, replied with a quote from the Bible about the nobility of poverty. I kid you not.

You, sir, are a tool.

Everyone has a dude like that if not a few at their company. Flew with a guy that when turbulence would drive the speed up to 254 below 10,0 in the climb he would proceed to turn the autopilot off for an agressive pitch up to correct the horrendous 4kt deviation. Completely out of touch with common sense. They grind your will to live to a pulp. Sympathies.

And you know what....if you (Captain) want to fly the plane, then here you go ** your controls. I will try and not screw up the radio thingy over here. There is no way that I would ever put up with that from a Captain. Now if you (First Officer) keep doing it over and over and over then maybe I can show you a technique to prevent this from happening. What a *

All the little juveniles that can't keep their fingers and their immature comments off of 121.5 in US domestic airspace. FOQA catching a few and promptly citing them while also stripping them of their FCC permit and employment.

Another US example of unprofessional behavior from US Regional Air Carriers. Pathetic little boys playing on a radio that may be needed for an emergency.

Name. We're going to need a name. At least the airline.

That's a quick way to get FOQA pulled from the airline.
