The old dude traveling with her quietly behaved as if he's seen this act before.

I've seen dudes wearing orange jumpsuits in ISIS videos that appeared to have a more positive outlook on life than this guy trapped with that lunatic.

Same for elevator doors.

Excuse me while I whack you my rollarboard since you won't move.

Idiots.

I'll add to that people who step off of the bottom or top of an escalator, or step off of a moving walkway, and just stop.

Or, the people who take one step outside the sliding doors exiting the terminal, and do the same thing, as they try to figure out where to get the bus to parking.

In that same vein, the genius who designed the PHL terminal so that the crosswalks are 10 yards to the left or right of the terminal exit doors.

So what do people do?

Instead of walking that 10 yards to the crosswalks (or even seeing them), they blow right out the door, right through the jersey barriers, and right into the traffic to cross the street to the parking lot.

Yep, same trait as the elevator people, etc. Same ones that walk down a busy sidewalk and just stop, or in the crowded terminal. Same people that step out of a store onto the sidewalk in an urban area and now make everyone walk around them.

And one of my favorites. Say you are walking through the terminal, and it has dual/parallel moving sidewalks or escalators. There is a person to your side, NO ONE on either of the moving sidewalks or escalators ahead of you. It seems OBVIOUS that you'll take the one ahead of you, they'll take the one ahead of them. All of the sudden, they walk right in front of you and cut you off to get on the one ahead of you, leaving the other one by itself. WTH is wth that?

The people that are mentioned in the prior posts that stop anywhere at any time seem to not be aware that they are not the only person on this Earth. But they are so oblivious to their surroundings in the first place (be it a terminal, grocery store, parking lot, or roadway) and then wonder why they are crime victims, get run over by cars, run into other cars, and just walk around in a constant befuddled daze.

Ask those wonderful folks to define situational awareness? What is that? Besides, I never get into situations in the first place.

The icing on the cake is when they give you that look like YOU are in the wrong for bumping into them, stand there waiting for them to move, etc etc etc.

Then they get in their cars and pull the same stuff with the expressway exits.

Right. Same people that cut you off and look at you like it's YOUR fault, SAME people that don't know how a 4 way stop works, pull ahead of you, and it's YOUR FAULT.

I'd add that anyone moving around in public places with earbuds in is this very sort of person.
