Not saying it's "the TSA", just saying there are some agents who take it a little too far.

We're not supposed to be cutting this line. Get to the airport a few minutes earlier and stand in line. It's never long. Or else cut the other lines. This is a non issue and the TSA aren't being tools, you are though.

HALLELUJAH!! The "TOOL" award goes to THAT flight crew who cuts in front of only a couple people in the security line. I understand if the line is long, but have also been at the airport many times, as a non-rev pilot with my wife and step-son, when the flight crew shows NEGATIVE situational awareness (S.A.) and "cuts the line" with only a couple of people to stand behind. Maybe it's just a matter of perspective, and the apparent "obviousness of tool(ish)-ness" isn't noticed by the crew, but COME ON!!

You're spot on sir. I'll only cut if the line is long and warrants it. This is a symptom of the far larger disease which is killing manners and common sense. Not sure what causes it. Perhaps too much tv and fast food.

I disagree. We(working crews) should not have to stand in any line except KCM. KCM should be at every airport. Until then, I will cut(I'm always polite) and no way in Hell am I going to get to the airport any earlier. If that makes me a "TOOL" gearjerk, so be it.

He's right here. The whole security façade is one of the things that just ****es me off to no end.

Respectively, NERD. You consider one or two people, "a line?" Much less, a line requiring you the need to cut in front of? Just asking. "Tool award" for it might be slightly exaggeratory, but I think cutting in front of only a couple people, or one family (two adults & son) does show some reduced situational awareness. JMHO.

TSA should have a policy at non KCM airports to direct crews to the front of the line as SOP. Obvious exceptions would be when there are only 1-2 people in the line, etc. They don't because they think it will increast animosity towards them, but the current system of force cutting by the cutters themselves generates far more angst IMO.

The USAir flight attendant who giggled about forgetting that a second form of ID is required at KCM...and I've had the miss fortune of waiting behind her more than once while she digs through he stuff to find her passport.
