The Air Wisconsin crew who landed 5 minutes in front of us last week. Even after the hotel van driver told them we were staying at the same hotel, they convinced him to leave. 25 minute round trip.
I don’t believe in karma...but I’m pretty sure when you act like tools, others will treat you as such. |

Companion Pass Rider TOTD
This lady, on a companion pass, posts a cursing rant to a Facebook against AA after being denied boarding for inappropriate attire. Actually records herself cursing AT the gate agents.
If I was the employee who let her use my companion pass, I’d be slightly miffed. https://thepointsguy.com/news/angry-...facebook-rant/ UFB |

How about we wait 10 minutes for another crew (same airline), then they dash off as soon as the van parks at the hotel....... just so they can get to the sign-in sheet before us. I’ve seen this many times. Some guys aren’t smart, others are self centered. |

The problem with "the next crew will be here in 5 minutes" that in my personal experience that is a lie 100% of the time. Sign up for 5 and you're stuck for 15 (and then after 15 you end up leaving without the other crew anyway). Don't blame the other crew, it's the transportation providers who don't provide adequate vehicles and then are unable to give a proper estimate that are the problem.

And you don’t think a Delta crew has ever done that to someone else? Before I was at Delta, I had a a Captain tell us we should take the next van. We left in the first van.

This made me chuckle. We actually had a certain airline crew tell us we needed to take the next van while curbside in BHM. It's amazing how some people are in their own universe.

I guess I'm not smart enough to know what this means. Given the above level of smart, common curtesy would dictate that you would let them check in first (not self centered). Most guys get this.... |

I get your point, but I do blame the other crew. We landed within minutes of each other, on the gates right next to each other nearly simultaneously. But it was a regional jet so they got done sooner. The driver told them he was there for us too and they convinced him to leave anyway.
They not only got off quickly but then took the van leaving BOTH crews behind (mine and theirs)! Talk about dbaggery. |

I think you are, which is similar to the Wisconsin D bag situation......If you walked up to a van and witnessed no active loading but another crew was already seated, they had been waiting for you at least a few minutes. This realization would be an encompassing level of smart.

Question is did they tip the van driver $1?

Mega-super-maxi dbaggery. I'd be very inclined to go have a conversation with that crew when I got to the hotel.
