I'm in awe of his air superiority.

I would like to present him with two Pumpkin Spice Latte's. Captain George's choice of size... because he's got me.

LNL76 12-26-2017 03:50 PM

YIKES.....that was painful. I'd have to hide during that PA if I was on his crew.

I think the FO was hiding in the lav...and recording!

RI830 12-26-2017 04:38 PM

Capt Fantastic.....”US Navy, I flew war time missions in peacetime and peacetime missions in wartime! Taught Timmmay all that he knows.”

It’s a wonder he was able to fit his ego through the cockpit door.

B200 Hawk 12-26-2017 06:04 PM

Tier 1 material right there.

GogglesPisano 12-26-2017 06:10 PM

If you guys don't like my PA just say so. You don't have to be so douchy about it.

I was sitting in 2B one day from SLC to SEA and got off the plane and went back to the skyclub when he started in on his amazing navy career. He couldn't even acknowledge the FO or cabin crew. I was on a refundable ticket and took the next flight. True story.

You are legit.

That egomaniac needs to be drug checked immediately.
Pretty sure I have heard that entire Spiel on "GUARD!" before.

stanherman 12-27-2017 05:06 AM

That video was cringe worthy. One would assume on most Jamaica flights that 50% or more of the pax on board have no clue what he’s talking about nor do they care.

Well it's his plane, his fo, his cabin, his fa, did I miss anything else that was his?

Mentally unsound. So has nobody pulled him aside and had a talk? You'd think his squadron mates would step in, "hey Hollywood, people are getting uneasy, "knock-it-off".

I think I'll start bringing a little folding chair in case I see him trying that speech with those Jamaican Customs ladies. Should go over real well.;)

Can you imagine being related to Hollywood?

Just imagine what he talks about at Thanksgiving. Just imagine him chewing the fat over some beers. God.

This idiot probably has relatives. Just imagine how awful they feel every time they see him.

If you’re on facebook, it’s made it on the airlinepilotmemes page.

If this is for real...anyone who has gotten this far in this industry...and still refers to himself by his military call sign, much less putting it on a PA, is the tool of the century.

Don't a lot of Southwest guys put it on their company ID's? I've seen it a few times.

When someone introduces themself as their callsign, it’s a far more apparent identifier than long sleeve shirts or “so I ‘m laid back” that it is gonna be a long trip.

Hahaha!

He is definitely not alone. I have met several of his co workers who do exactly that same thing.

I’ve never had anyone do that!

Would be funny!

Especially when I insist he refer to me by my callsign:

Trouser Snake

I don’t do it, and I really don’t care and wouldn’t bent out of shape about it. but depending on the callsign I don’t think it’s that big a deal. Like a maverick or Hollywood type thing is stupid. Or the Air Force ones like Lazer, or Blazer, or Gazer.
But a smitty, or jonesy or Tex wouldn’t bother me. Even if Tex is from Detroit

GogglesPisano 12-27-2017 11:33 AM

I use my Starfleet call-sign.

What about “Chugger”? We had a QCQ (quarterly recurrent) where our flight ops VP introduced one of our Mad Dog Captains to explain an inflight emergency he encountered, and he introduced him by his callsign....Chugger. I cringed a little. I agree that Smiley or Smitty, whatever, isn’t bad, but how do you earn the callsign of Chugger?

I think we matched but you never responded to my messages. What gives. Bob Hoover flew twin commanders that not enough for you?

I still cheer for Chugger every time I start a QCQ. Oh please, Chugger... won't you tell us a story??
