Yes, I can't figure out if he meant that as a joke. "Shooting star?" Does he call the engines "whirlygigs?"

How terrachauvinist! The tiny residents of that world thought that we were a giant meteoroid (until they got smooshed). :p

Everybody knows exactly what they are talking about inevitably...

I might know it as the jungle bridge, for you it’s the perineum but the most commonly accepted term is taint.

Same difference:)

I thank you sir! I'm very well read on the urban dictionary, yet "jungle bridge" has alluded me till now.

badflaps 11-12-2017 01:04 PM

Sometimes that is a bridge too far.

Yes, I have, and you are the tool of the forum for posting it.

So, he’s the tool for being smart enough to know what a meteorite is?

If you say so, Dr. Science.

"Shooting star" means you spent too much time watching Disney instead of "Cosmos" as a kid.

Meteoroids haven’t entered the atmosphere.

Meteors are what we see burning in the sky.

Meteorites actually hit the ground.

Probably a lot more useful to know than what a Jungle Bridge is.

I don’t know, that’s pretty subjective.

TheAshtar 11-16-2017 10:55 AM

Anyone flying around on frequency when this happened? Would this be a “meteor” or “meteorite”? Lol!

Lt. Johnson was in command, and the RIO was Lt. Wang.
