Is this arrest going to affect the production output of Chief Pilots?

So... I'm unclear, with the balls to the wall, did he retain the control stick? Or did it become a non-towered field? Some things just shouldn't be done by amateurs. ;) |

Yeah I'm going to have to change my motto now that it is tainted!

I nominate the United Captain yesterday at ORD whose PA was 4-5 minutes long complaining about how it wasn't his fault they were late and it was unusual that the airport was allowing departures and arrivals on the same runway....
.....all on Tower frequency. Honorable mention to his FO who should have stopped him no later than the 20 second mark. |

Around what time was it? Sounds epic enough to try and find the tape. I'm assuming 9R?

Not to pile on, but I nominate the UAL Captain with the truck nuts hanging from his roller bag, strolling through MSP.
F/O was walking about 20 feet behind him... |

F/O was walking about 20 feet behind him... As in the fake ball sack that people hang off the back of their trucks? If so we need to skip right past Pro Standards and literally beat him. What in the hell is he thinking?! Way to represent the profession. Raging idiot  |

Our takeoff time was 1329. It happened just as we were cleared to lineup and wait. So, narrowing it down, maybe 1326ish?

1. He wasn't. 2. That it was Sunday, and nobody in his chain of command would be in MSP. 3. That it was clever and funny. 4. That nobody would know which airline, although the "United" bag tag might give it away. 5. That it would repel the F/O? (if so...it seemed to be working) |

I dunno. Not only did he make tool of the day, he achieved escape velocity. We all need to get back to the drawing board, this one is going to be tough to beat.
Pfft...easy! Someone needs to drag a blow-up doll through the terminal strapped to their rollaboard! |

Believe it or not, I've been screened for alcohol in SEA after a layover in MIA and a 5.5 hour flight home. Now that was a head scratcher.

How about getting a screening after a Rome, Italy flight to ATL and on your retirement flight.

The worst part about that video is the very beginning when Capt America says "I don't work". The rest was just painful.
