Default The FUTURE!

This ambitious American airport would have housed two-storey airliners UNDERGROUND - where there would also have been a US post office and underground railways

Magazines of the period commonly featured rather 'out there' projects: This ambitious American airport would have housed two-storey airliners UNDERGROUND - where there would also have been a US post office and underground railways

nothing like the smell of jet exhaust to choke me from breathing underground. Imagine the kind of ventilation needed for such a project. How would one remove the bad air and replace it with breathable air. And we're putting cars and trains down there too ??????
