As a kid:
I got an aircraft carrier that was about 3' long and came with an F4 model. You tied a string to the aft deck to a spot down a hallway that was higher than "sea level" - about 5 ft high. The you'd attach the F4 to the string using a device that would rotate 180' as its speed bled off. Rubber band catapult to launch the F4. You had a joy stick so you could "fly". At the end of the line, the speed would decay so the 180 turn would take place and you had to fly the F4 back for an arrested landing on deck.
As an adult.

Got a chance to have all of my sisters and brother fly into WPB, FL. We're spending the holidays with our parents. We'll all be together until the January 5th when everyone returns to their respective homes.
As mentioned before about dinners, home-cooked and had a non-traditional Christmas dinner: Lobster mac & cheese, grilled colossal shrimp & rib-eye steak, grilled chicken drumettes, collard greens, corn bread, coconut & sweet potato pie!
It doesn't get any better than that!
