A retired "scientists" and if you read the article even the other qwaks said his "predictions" are crazy. Not one of the alarnist prediction over the past 30 years has come true. Not single ones.

I did read the article, yes some called into question some portions of the paper, but as the article said: Thus, in light of these comments, it seems safe to say that the intellectual process of digesting the new paper has already begun. And while some researchers are already calling into question some of the more novel scenarios involving meltwater freshening, ocean circulations and storms, the work’s concerns about major sea level rise from melting ice sheets appear hard for scientists to rule out.

I think atpcliff comment is appropriate: "Will we be the ostrich? Or, will we take action to mitigate the damage we have done??? "

Who is this "we" of whom you speak? Until a detailed plan that promises such mitigation is offered, together with a reliable statement of who pays and how much, the answer will be "Ostrich".

Hey, I quit using paper bags because they destroyed the planet. Then I found out plastic bags destroyed the planet. After switching back and forth (almost weekly) I switched to canvas. I just found out my canvas bag collects bacteria and if I wash it it destroys the planet. So I have decided to just drive my suburban to the market everyday and only buy what I can fit into my pockets. Will it save the planet if I have Amazon use one of their drones to deliver my beer?

In point of fact, it wasn't all that long ago that the idiot libtard newsers at Time were wetting their pants over a polar opposite (pun intended) issue...

Just like their hysteria over paper grocery bags forced everyone to start using plastic bags, then OMG we can't use plastic bags! They also opposed nuclear power before the embraced it. The list of examples of their stupidity goes on and on.

They are idiots. Plain and simple.

(yawn)

Oh look!

New York has experienced at least a foot of sea-level rise since 1900.

Heavens to Betsy!

Those aren't those the same scientists that were predicting an ice age in the '70's by any chance, are they?

That's the problem right there, the doing.

The problem is that if the alarmists were serious about solving emissions they would build more nuke plants but we have socialists like sanders that want to tax steaks and ban pickup trucks.
