"A hundred years from now, humans may remember 2014 as the year that we first learned that we may have irreversibly destabilized the great ice sheet of West Antarctica, and thus set in motion more than 10 feet of sea level rise."

Talk about Ted Cruz scaring babies.

I know let's tax our way out of it.

Yes! This is the exact type of hot gas that keeps contributing to the warming climate.
Time for a tax penalty of some type, right? That will stop it and we lemmings always fall for that line.

While not scientific, my boat has been at the same dock for 24 years. The steps no longer are tall enough to reach the deck. Accounting for wood shrinkage and old age, the water is coming up... I have no idea what this means. (Tampa Bay)

Happy Earth Day, flower-people. Tie-dye and drum circles for everyone, y'all! Wheeee!

"...after years of mounting concern and hard work, the first-ever Earth Day took place, and a new commitment to action took hold. As we learned from the first Earth Day....when enough people make their voices heard, policymakers listen."

- John Kerry, USA Today Earth Day '15 Op-ed

John Kerry: On Earth Day, time running out for climate change

Hmmmm. Speaking of making your voice heard, here is one way people do it....

Record Numbers Of Drivers Trading In Electric Cars For SUVs

04/21/2015

"...new research shows drivers are trading in their hybrid and electric cars to buy sports utility vehicles (SUVs).

The auto-research group Edmunds.com found that “22 percent of people who have traded in their hybrids and [electric vehicles] in 2015 bought a new SUV.”

This number is higher than the 18.8 percent that did the same last year and double the number that traded in their electric car for an SUV just three years ago. Edmunds.com reports that "only 45 percent of this year’s hybrid and EV trade-ins have gone toward the purchase of another alternative fuel vehicle, down from just over 60 percent in 2012.

“Never before have loyalty rates for alt-fuel vehicles fallen below 50 percent,” Edmunds notes.

Uh oh.

When Warmers lose the people that actually....and literally...."bought in" to the GW/Alt energy scam....well....you know what happens to the scam.

For traders....Tesla Motors (TSLA) is looking like a great multi-year short. In fact, shorting "Green" anything may be the best trade of 2015.
