CRJ200 v Q400
#11
Which gives me a better QOL?
Which lets me live in a decent base?
Which pays more?
After a while, you will learn that the airframe means very little. It's the life that goes with it that counts.
Oh, and the Caravan IS the Turbine Suburbine. Haul a lot of stuff and land anywhere.

The turbine suburban is a caravan. Although the Q400 has a few nicknames typically "mega whacker" is the one that sticks.
All irrelevant as others have said, go for QOL and pay. The two airplanes are only a few dollars apart in pay and in the next two years will be equal so pay is not really a consideration. Which ever one offers the QOL.
If all things were considered equal I would go with the Q400 as it is a better performer and when you are not trimming the rudder a good time to fly. As for the jet vs prop debate, I havent seen many Q400 guys not getting their fair shake at a job to move on.
