So the unspoken bottomline of the article. Dodd-Frank and other government interference in banking has destroyed banking. Probably Mr. Franks objective from the get go. Sen Dodd was just in it for the money.
Butt not the lesson that will be learned.

I wrote: “not necessarily”… so I surely don’t anything.
If it’s paper money you’re talking about, they would notice; that’s just a matter of having the cash on hand. But as for actual deposits… Maybe, maybe not.
Depending on whose reports you look at… If the bottom 50% of citizens only control 2% of the wealth… then I think the answer would be no, they may not care. But then that would depend on who’s in that majority making the run.
Of course this is oversimplifying things and the link was only providing an opposing point to your statement. The “not necessarily” doesn’t paint me into a corner.

What does OWS want? Redistribution of income and wealth. No other stated goals or policies.

I don't know about anybody else, but my husband and I have been putting our money into the First National Bank of Sealy Posturepedic for years and especially now when even credit unions pay 0.5% interest on a jumbo CD. During one of our famous gloomy, rainy, dark Fall days in the Pacific Northwest, I take comfort in that lump on the bed. My only concern is that my little dog might find said lump and chew it up to pieces.
