Hawaii Flying
I am going to Hawaii for 10 days at the end of the month and would like to do a little Island flying while there.
Anybody have any recommendation in the Honolulu/Oahu area?
Also any recommendations of what to see or do would be welcomed as well.
Thanks

I was there last month and rented a C172SP with George's Aviation. I would highly recommend them. They are based at HNL.
As for what to do, a flight around the island would be a great start. It's only about 1.5 hours. Here are some pictures from the flight I flew.

Went up with a FE building time 10 years to go whale watching in the Kaiwi Channel between Oahu and Molokai. Did that for a while, saw some whales (stay 1000 feet above sea level) and then circled around Molokai. I'd seen the south shore of Molokai a bunch flying HNL to Maui and Kona but never the north. As we came around the the east end of the island the sight is incredible. We ended up in a tunnel, water below, sheer 2000 foot cliffs to the left, clouds at the top of the cliffs and, well Alaska somewhere off to the right.
