Whistler BC - suggestions?

What's weird is I've been flying International routes for going on 20 years and have spent more time in Customs lines than I care to remember. Aside from "accidentally" driving an FBO loaner car into Mexico many many years ago, I've never driven across the border.

A real issue that happens to my clients and friends all the time. You wouldn't believe all the people who want to kidnap their own kids and run across the border. The problem is that legitimate people get grilled the same way.
You need to go out more.
BTW, we might be going to Richmond tomorrow for lunch. That quail on a stick is just awesome!

Hey all, I'm considering a trip to Whistler before summer is over and I was wondering if anyone had local knowledge or suggestions of things to do on a summer visit? I've got a great place to stay if I go, I'm looking more for family friendly activities.
I'd be driving from the Seattle area, so any tips for driving cross-boarder would be welcome (never made the drive).
Thanks!

"Zip-lining" between Whistler and Blackcomb. One of the lines is 1100 ft. Don't know how old your kids are, but there is a minimum weight limit. We cheated a few pounds with one of mine...And, he got stuck in the middle of the 800ft line, high over the river. Stupid headwind!!
And, do one of the ATV tours. That was a big hit with kids.
