books anyone?

Jeppessen is pretty good as well as the ASA books, try to stay away from Sporty's published books. If you have any friends that are pilots they may have some of their books they used when starting out and may let you borrow them to save you some money.

The Jeppenssen Private Pilot book is really good. Other books that will be very helpful for you are the Airplane Flying Handbook, and Aviation Weather Services Handbook. Aviation Weather Services Handbook I think is one of the best books when it comes to interpreting weather charts and graphics.

Out of all the books I have purchased, I really think Aviation Weather Services Handbook was one of the best. WX is a problem with most pilots I think, fully understanding it and knowing what these clouds mean and what this means... I love that book
