Artists seek the edge of possible emotional experience and sometimes fall over the edge during the search. We owe them a huge debt for what they do for us, and it is always tragic when one passes before completing a journey. In a way though it is just a part of the risk in exploring anything wonderful. To not have gone at all would be more tragic.
