Sorry...Mr. Move Happy,

"Too Many 50-Seat Planes?"

"Most efficient regional plane"

"Making the switch to a regional airline"

"New regional direct hire program"

"Regional vs. college?"

Just a few of the highlights that were moved...

Rant over.

I just caught myself up on this thread and situation. I apologize to the OP that my closing of the affected thread had such an effect on you, however, I have to agree with HSLD's quoted post above. In many cases, the safest thing to do is err on the side of caution, there is a wide range of discretion and past experience to draw upon to make these decisions.

In most cases, cockpit training aids, flows, etc. are company specific. I know that the three airlines I have worked for, every page of all the manuals list that material as SSI.

There is plenty of manufacture specific information online located on other sites, some have been listed in posts above. You also have the opportunity to take "CRJ transition courses" through schools like ATP or sponsored by an airline as a new hire, such as Eagle if you are interested in learning the CRJ prior to formal training.

I think everyone agrees that the last thing we want is to shun learning and turn away people who want to learn, however, in many subject matters there are gray areas. It is up to the moderators and administrators to make the best judgement decisions regarding threads that post or are asking for material that could be SSI.

What's inconceivable is that we left your thread open and explained the why behind our policy after you called my moderators Nazis in the original title.

People have no idea until they actually are a moderator, the BS you have to deal with is like watching 1st graders. Be glad they are willing to talk to you about it in discussion, instead of instant ban.
