A Special Announcement !
Yesterday Morning after an all night effort at 10:01 AM my wife and I welcomed our seventh son into the world. As always she did it without any drugs or much medical assistance. In the late afternoon the discussion was opened about naming the little man. Since this guy is the end of the line I summoned the best of my courage and declared my intentions of naming him "Airhoss" after one of my best buddies here.
The cold flat gaze she offered in return assured me that I was going to have a fight on my hands, so I knew that I was going to have to dig deep. I told her that the proud name Airhoss is an old family name from my relative Barron Von Airhoss that emigrated from Germany over 200 years ago. Still she did not budge. At that point I let it go for a while.
My back up names are an even harder sell; USMCFLYR (all caps), DE727UPS (numbers in a name), Brianb (possible but with the "b" on the end will be difficult) and a few more. She wants to name him Kelly and that is a fine name however over the last 15 years has gone solidly into the girl category. I feel safe that the girls will not move to takeover a name like "HSLD".
In any case I will depart soon to recover my wife and son this morning. Before we can leave for home they will make us complete the birth certificate form that includes the babies name. Wish me luck. How about change the spelling to Er Hoss?

Congratulations, SkyHigh! I wondered why we haven't heard from you in a long time. Busy.
My parents had 5 daughters. My sister has 3 sons. But 7 sons! That's amazing.
I'm semi-retired and closed my coffee shop, so if you need help, let me know and I'll make a trip over there. I might even fly QX.

Thank You
Thank you all. Mother and son are home and resting now. At the hospital I noticed that my wife packed her things in my old black Tumi rolling suitcase that I used for years as a pilot. I haven't seen that thing in a long time.
