Hey now, that jack@$$ will be us, non revving around the globe on our awesome next contract retirements (or non revving around the globe for the free meals because we don't have any retirement) but srsly, who in the H. E. double Stanley Cup is going to let their kids become airline pilots to be around in the first place when those things show up in 2050*?

*will actually be delivered in 2095, just in time for it to be made obselete by Apple's iJet, due to over ambitious outsourcing, under performing −100 models and evil greedy robot pilot pay contract disputes.

By 2050, I'd think display technology will be at the point where you could just plaster the inside of the fuselage with displays that make it look like you're looking outside. Heck, we're getting close to that point now and you wouldn't even have to come up with a completely unnecessary clear airplane.
That's called the F-35...

FTB,

Cue the "Obligatory Pilot Shortage" thread started a couple months ago by you as the OP.

Again, not saying they'll go to "pilot-less" aircraft, but possibly reduced crews by 2050?

Fly safe,

GJ

The problem is a thread started by a pilot viewed as a-bleep isn't permitted.
